The District Sample Sale Legacy Fund
Created in the Fall of 2007, The District Sample Sale Legacy Fund was founded to offer continued support to the past beneficiaries of The District Sample Sale. In addition to our chosen charity each season, a portion of our proceeds will benefit our past event beneficiaries. We feel strongly that the needs are endless and that building a network of continued support will truly make the difference in the lives of women and children in our region.
How We Choose Our Charities
Each year the Board of Directors choose one women's and one children's charity toward which we focus our efforts and proceeds for the calendar year.
We look for:
* regionally-based 501(c)3 charities where our donation can make a significant impact on a specific program
* a charity that fits within the Labels for Love mission statement
* a charity that can work with us to help spread the word about our event and provide on-site marketing to promote their cause.
* a charity where our marketing efforts and continued financial support will help them grow their organization in the long term.If you are a 501(c)3 organization that would like to be considered, please email info@labelsforlove.org with a description of your organization and a statement of how your group fits within our criteria and can benefit.
